Do I need a reservation?
Reservations are recommended, especially for dinner service and larger parties. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability.

How far in advance can I make a reservation?
Reservations are accepted up to 30 days in advance. Holiday and special event reservations may have different booking policies.

Do you accept walk-ins?
Yes. We welcome walk-in guests and seat them based on availability.

What is your cancellation policy?
Reservations for parties of 8 or more require a credit card to hold the reservation. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the reservation time are subject to a $25 per person cancellation fee.

Can you accommodate large parties?
Yes. We welcome larger groups and offer private and semi-private dining options. Parties larger than 14 guests should contact our events team directly.

Do you have a private dining room?
Yes. Our Private Dining Room is available for meetings, celebrations, corporate dinners, and special occasions. The table comfortably seats parties of 8-12.

Is there a room rental fee?
No. Our Private Dining Room is available without a room fee, subject to availability and minimum food and beverage requirements when applicable.

How do I inquire about a private event?

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes. We offer vegetarian, vegan, gluten-sensitive, and allergy-conscious options whenever possible. Please notify your server of any dietary restrictions when ordering.

Although some menu items are prepared without gluten, dairy and nuts, we use flour, nuts, dairy, eggs and other common allergens in our kitchen. Cross contact may occur.

Can I bring my own wine?
Outside wine may be permitted with prior approval and is subject to a corkage fee. Please contact us before your visit for current corkage policies.

Can I bring an outside dessert?
Yes. Outside desserts are permitted with advance notice and are subject to an outside dessert fee. Please see our Outside Dessert Policy for details.

We’re happy to celebrate special occasions with you at Glasshouse Kitchen. Guests may bring an outside dessert, such as a birthday cake or specialty pastry, for a fee of $4 per guest.

  1. Advance Notice Required: Please let us know at the time of your reservation if you plan to bring a dessert from an outside vendor.
  2. Service Included: The fee covers plating, serving utensils, and dessert service by our team.
  3. Food Safety: Outside desserts must come from a licensed bakery or commercial kitchen. Homemade desserts cannot be accepted.
  4. Storage & Decorations: We can refrigerate your dessert prior to service, but space is limited. Candles are welcome; sparklers and open-flame decorations are not permitted.

Glasshouse Kitchen is located on the Alexandria Center campus in Research Triangle Park, serving lunch and dinner in a modern, garden-inspired setting.

Monday–Friday: Lunch and Dinner
Saturday: Dinner Only
Sunday: Closed

Is parking available?
Yes. Complimentary parking is available on-site for restaurant guests. We offer complimentary valet service during our lunch hours of 11am – 3pm.

Do you offer outdoor seating?
Yes. Weather permitting, guests may enjoy dining in our courtyard seating area.

While we love our four-legged friends, dogs and other pets are not permitted in the restaurant or courtyard dining areas.

This policy helps us maintain a comfortable dining experience for all guests and comply with health and safety regulations. Service animals, as defined by the ADA, are always welcome.

Please note that this policy extends to the entirety of the Alexandria Real Estate Campus.
